• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Original online services for this game or platform have been discontinued; any offline or local modes still work normally.
• RPG gameplay centers on unconventional encounters rather than traditional 16-bit-style battle presentation.
• Features strange scenario elements including monkeys, cosmic terrorists, and a self-aware professor figure asking for help.
• Costumes affect power, giving equipment choices a direct role in character progression.
• Developed by Grasshopper Manufacture, tying the game to a studio known for unusual, personality-heavy game design.

Contact sits apart from more traditional Nintendo DS RPGs by leaning into absurd humor, life-sim activities, and meta-story presentation. Its mix of cooking, fishing, stickers, and costume-based growth gives it a distinct identity within the handheld RPG library.
